School Shows
Pre-Schools
Mr. Richard sings and plays his guitar, mandolin and ukulele for your pre-schoolers, inviting them to sing along on old favorites and teaching them new tunes as well. Lots of group participation, because music includes everyone! If space permits, lively activities are part of the program, to help channel the wiggles.
Elementary Schools
Songs tell stories, and Mr. Richard presents an entertaining program of musical storytime for all ages, with an emphasis on reading and literacy. Accompanying himself on guitar, mandolin, ukulele and harmonica, Richard performs traditional and original songs that involve the entire audience. Your students will be singing and clapping along from the first tune and will be held spellbound by the age-old art of the musical minstral tradition as Mr. Richard brings you a fun, exciting program.
Middle School Booktalking
Richard presents a "Booktalking" program that is guaranteed to get your middle school students excited about reading! With stories, music, and cliff-hanging descriptions of the latest Young Adult books, students will raid your media center shelves to get their hands and eyes on the featured titles. Featuring several books from Florida's Sunshine State reading list, Richard can also give your 6th, 7th and 8th graders a "customized" presentation that suits your current curriculum.
